With a glazed surface on the tile, these fired-on colors never fade and can really add a lot to your sign. An added benefit
is that grafitti can be cleaned off the "glass" surface of the tile.

This sculpted & glazed tile sign was the second one created for the Briargate developments. Carved from 12" by 12"
by 3" brick units, it features a "golfer" finely detailed down to the hand grip on the club and his Argyle
socks.
Entered into the annual Signs of The Times national competition, this sign won an Honorable Mention in 1997.
This sign, along with the award winning Pueblo Latino Chamber of Commerce sign, was featured in the illustrated book,
"Sign Gallery International," published by ST Publications in 1999.

The sign for this building's two permanent tenants was designed to compliment the architecture of the building. Using
the same color brick and stucco, the tile has a subtle "southwestern" motif in the background.

Using existing sign foundations, this double-sided sign, 6' high by 11' 4" long, features the natural brick clay
color, highlighted by glazed colors. The tile are 12" by 12" by 3" thick, carved back to a 1" bed-depth.
The internal frame for the sign was constructed off-site and trucked to the office location, where the concrete board
and stucco were added, surrounding the tile.
For nighttime illumination, each side is lighted by single, wide-angle lights.

The Pueblo West home for this multi-state construction company is identified by this double-sided sculpted & glazed
tile sign, framed top & bottom with decorative brick tile.
Swerdfeger Construction also built the split-face concrete block wall for the sign tile. This sign is also front-lit
at night on each side.

This recent entry sign won the 2003 MOMA Award for Best Signage, by the Pueblo Homebuilders Association.
With a tile area of 3' 4" high by 7' 4", the 8" x 8" sculpted & glazed tile are framed by Eldorado
stone, to create an attractive entrance to this housing development .
Situated on a high location, with views of Pueblo and the surrounding mountains and plains, this popular site is expanding,
with a second Earthwork Studios tile sign now installed.

Two of these "stone and tile" entry walls welcome clients and customers to this growing business campus. Each curved
wall is 4' high by 34' long, with the sculpted & glazed sign tile surrounded by Eldorado stone, made at their plant in
Pueblo.
Besides a bank and credit union, this campus features a large medical center and large office building, serving the expanding
needs of this community. A large, multi-acre, YMCA sports & recreation campus is planned for the near future.
